SUMMARY:Seijaku Online with Pam Towne
DESCRIPTION:Online Seijaku Class \n6 SATURDAYS\, Sept. 7 – Oct. 12 \n9:30 am–12 noon (Pacific time) \nWith Seijaku Teacher Trainer\, Pam Towne \nIn your home via Zoom \n  \n\nThis 6-week class is designed for you to: \n  \n• Learn or review Advanced TCC / Seijaku \n• Deepen and soften your practice of TCC \n• Advance your practice to the next level \n• Increase the flow of Chi  and Receive advanced benefits \n• Receive a valuable review before Seijaku Teacher Accreditation \n  \nPricing \n$300 (regular) \n$250 (seniors) \n$200 (early bird before August 10th) \n$125 (if you’ve taken my class before) \n  \nSpace is limited & filled on a “first come\, first served” basis. \n                       \nTo register or get more information\, call\, text\, or email Pam:\n \n760-421-7589 US cell or 442-222-8332 International   pamtowne@gmail.com \nSend a check to Pam Towne\, 234 Hoover St\, Oceanside\, CA 92054 \nOr add $10 to pay by PayPal to pamtowne@gmail.com \n  \n  \n\nWhat IS Seijaku?…and is it for you? \nBy Pam Towne\, Seijaku Teacher Trainer \n  \nSeijaku is a Japanese word that means “stillness (or serenity) in the midst of activity”.  It is a term Justin Stone used to describe the quality of inner serenity in the midst of busy daily life that is cultivated by our practice of T’ai Chi Chih®.  It is also the name he gave to the advanced form of TCC when he first taught Seijaku in 1986.  In this evolutionary practice\, one additional principle is added internally as we do the T’ai Chi Chih movements\, which greatly steps up the flow of Chi. \n  \nWe know that the benefits of practicing TCC come from circulating and balancing the Chi.  Since Seijaku greatly increases the flow of Chi\, it naturally accelerates the resulting health\, creativity\, and spiritual benefits we receive.  It also cultivates increased intuition\, heightened awareness\, creativity\, and JOY thru Movement! \n  \nOne of the valuable benefits of learning Seijaku is that it improves our TCC practice. It certainly deepens our experience of softness as well as our ability to flow from the center and focus in the soles of the feet. \n  \nSeijaku practice has some other interesting side effects/benefits\, such as making it easier to adapt to change and the increasing pace of life today.  It focuses the mind\, developing one-pointed concentration so we are more productive and find it easier to meditate (including quieting the mind while doing the moving meditation of TCC). \n  \nIf you want to deepen and soften your TCC practice\, Seijaku is a natural next step.  It’s best to have practiced TCC at least a year and be experiencing a strong flow of Chi before advancing to Seijaku. You’ll want to work with an accredited Seijaku teacher so you can ask questions and receive feedback.  You can supplement your learning with the originator’s (Justin Stone) Seijaku DVD. \n  \nYou may be surprised at how easily Seijaku can be interwoven into your daily TCC practice to give you an accelerated flow of Chi and enhanced benefits.  Enjoy! \n

SUMMARY:*TCC Intensive with Daniel Pienciak
DESCRIPTION:T’ai Chi Chih® Intensive\nJune 7 – 11\, 2023\nIn Your Own Home Via Zoom\nLed by Teacher Trainer\, Daniel Pienciak\nHosted by Carolyn Pogwist \nSerious students (who have practiced regularly for at least a year) will immerse themselves in T’ai Chi Chih\, gaining a greater flow of Chi\, as well as a deeper understanding and appreciation of this beneficial practice. \nLimited to 14 participants\, so reserve your space now. \nTIMES: We suggest opening Zoom room at least 20 minutes in advance for these major events. Hours are as follows (Eastern Daylight Time): \nWed (6/7)\, Fri (6/9)\, and Sat (6/10) are all “all day” from 10:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. (with 15-minute break mid-session) followed by a longer break and then 2:45 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. (with 15-minute break mid-session). \nSun (6/11) is from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with a 15-minute break mid-session. \nPRICE: Tuition for this four-day course is $300 (if paying by check) or $311 (if using PayPal). Partial scholarships are available for those who would not be able to attend without financial assistance. Contact Carolyn for a simple Scholarship Application form. \nOnline course using Zoom. You will receive an emailed link to click to join the sessions.  You can use a computer or tablet with a camera and microphone. The larger the screen\, the easier it will be for you to see. Having a connection between your device and a large-screen TV or monitor is ideal. For those who are enrolled in this Intensive as a fulfillment of the requirement for Accreditation later this year\, your using a large TV screen for your viewing is an expectation\, not merely a recommendation. It is also very important for the trainer to be able to see you onscreen from head to toe. The use of a good separate “webcam” can often be very helpful in this. \nMeals are up to you. It is recommended that you plan meals ahead and either have them prepared in advance or simply put them together quickly. You will have the option of eating with a small group in a Zoom breakout room during the meal break. This will facilitate getting to know people better\, just as you would during meals if we were in person. \nDownload the registration form here.
