I’ve had three careers: publishing, social work, and academia (teaching clinical psychology). In the last ten years I became very interested in T’ai Chi Chih, and became a private student of Daniel Pienciak for seven years. I sought accreditation to teach T’ai Chi Chih in April of 2017. T’ai Chi Chih continues to bring me great joy, strength, and confidence. I’d like to share it with you.
A few years ago, I moved from New York City to Asbury Park, New Jersey, where I’ve been teaching a weekly group for seniors who live in a wonderful affordable housing apartment building, which sits right at the ocean’s edge.
In addition I’ve worked as a volunteer for three years at a Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. My oldest student was featured in the local paper when he celebrated his 100th Birthday: T’ai Chi Chih was given as one of the reasons for his continued good health and vitality.
Right now I am preparing to teach virtually, since both my locations are still closed for community services. I invite you to contact me by phone or email if you would like information about working with me individually or in a group.
