Before You Apply

Please visit www.taichichih.org and review the Teachers → Accreditation and Guidelines pages. These sections lay out clear expectations for teacher candidates, and both candidates and their preparing teachers should be thoroughly familiar with them before the course begins.

Referral Requirements

Accreditation candidates need a signed Referral Form from two Accredited TCC Instructors who confirm you are ready to attend in April 2027.

• Forms are available at www.taichichih.org or from the Course Host.
• Send the original signed form to the Course Trainer: April Leffler, 702 Prospect Ave; Prospect Park, PA 19076
• Send a copy to the Course Host: Lorraine Lepine, 8803 W 71st Terrace, Prairie Village, KS 66208

 The referral form doesn’t need to accompany your registration — it can follow later. Your spot in the course is guaranteed upon receipt of your registration and deposit. Once the Course Host receives your Referral Form and your final payment (on March 6, 2027), your reservation will be fully guaranteed.

Please note: Neither submitting the referral form nor attending the course guarantees accreditation. Candidates receive feedback on their progress throughout the week, and the accreditation certificate is awarded at the end of the course at the sole discretion of the Trainer.

Registration

Accreditation week is limited to 15 candidates, so early registration is encouraged.

Registration & referral forms due: at least 30 days before the course, March 6, 2027

If one or both of your instructors ultimately feel you’re not yet ready, your registration will be voided and your deposit fully refunded, except for a $50 administrative fee. 

Course Schedule

A detailed schedule will be shared by April on Tuesday evening. The week includes morning, afternoon, and some evening sessions — attendance at all sessions is required for accreditation. Please note that lunch is not provided on Monday.

Fees

Teacher Candidates

Includes lodging, meals, moving space, and course tuition ($630 or $450 + $750).

Deposit: $475, upon registration

Final balance due: March 6, 2027

Travel

Flying in? The nearest airport is Kansas City International (MCI). Contact the Course Host for guidance on transportation from the airport to the Center. Most people use Uber or 5 Guys Transportation at (913) 406-4772.

Scholarships

Partial scholarships are available based on financial need. Contact the Course Host for a Scholarship Application Form — completed applications are due at least 30 days before the course. (March 6, 2027)
