Judy Kistler-Robinson has been an accredited T’ai Chi Chih instructor since October 2017. She began practicing T’ai Chi Chih after attending a retreat in Pecos, New Mexico, in 2012 and has returned to New Mexico several times for other retreats. Judy discovered a sense of calm and focus in T’ai Chi Chih and has found this form to be much easier to learn and remember than the Yang-form T’ai Chi Chuan she practiced for more than 30 years.
She delights in sharing the joy of meditative movement while teaching T’ai Chi Chih. She has taught in-person classes (and online Zoom classes) for the general public and in 55+ senior living communities. Some of her senior students have had Parkinson’s and other health/balance challenges.
Judy moved to Albuquerque in 2022 after retiring, and regularly hikes on the trails and is also active in the Albuquerque Urban Sketchers group. Contact Judy to discuss private or small group lessons.
