Hello my Friends, I am S. Becky Shinas, OP, a Dominican Sister of Mission San Jose, Fremont, CA (South Bay), and an accredited T’ai Chi Chih teacher (2019). I love T’ai Chi Chih. Why? Because it is JOY thru Movement, and I love JOY and MOVEment.

T’ai Chi Chih is done with ease, the “effort of no effort.” It is Fun and rewarding and highly beneficial to our beautiful Well-Being….and Doing:)

The A.B.C.s of this wonderful moving meditation of 19 movements and one pose is it Activates, Balances and Circulates the Chi throughout your whole mental, emotional, physical, spiritual and social being (which I call the Quintity): Wow. How coooool is that? Stellar cool.

Justin Stone, the originator of TCC in 1974, wrote in Spiritual Odyssey: “T’ai Chi Chih is knowledge of and a Direct Experience with the Supreme Ultimate.” Justin also quoted, “Geography is divided into ‘markets,’ population into ‘demographics,’ but humans are not statistics; within us lies Divinity.”

Justin Stone writes from Climb the Joyous Mountain: Living the Meditative Way,
“The current of constant meditation will gradually pervade the whole life, and each action will, in itself, be pure. We are all saints in embryo, and we are all Divine.” pg. 8

There is Form (the movement) and Formless (the Joy) that we are moving in TCC … the Supreme Ultimate, the Real, Energy, Chi, Love Source, God, Pure Potential, True Nature, Vital Force, Divine, or whatever you call the Chi.

We experience TCC as the prefect dance between the Form and Formless (that which I move and that which moves me) where I am 100% Human and 100% Divine, all at the same time, one always dissolving into the other, no duality, just pure oneness and communion. Translated: I am having a direct, personal experience with my Divinity and the Supreme Ultimate as me, all at the same time.

During these times, I believe the one thing that humankind faces right now is its own Divinity. The time is now to joyfully come together as a T’ai Chi Chih community to embody the global cellular incarnational consciousness happening within every fiber of our being and all things.
