I knew from the time that I was two years old that I was meant to teach. I would line up my dolls and trace A-B-C on my little blackboard. Sure enough I became an English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher and then a French Immersion teacher.
Loss and grief took me to study healing arts… first Reiki and then T’ai Chi Chih. It wasn’t long into my practice that I knew I had to share. The benefits were on so many levels… Emotionally, I had been living on a roller coaster; it was exhausting. Mentally, I noticed my thoughts (not my friends at the time) settled into more positive patterns. Physically, as I became aware of my body I lost weight and became stronger. Spiritually, too, hat feeling of connection between practices got longer and longer.
So I had to share with everyone I knew. I was accredited in 1990 and have been teaching T’ai Chi Chih since. I settled in Yuma in 2001. I have taught in workplaces and nursing homes and RV parks… lots of RV parks.
