I discovered T’ai Chi Chih through my Pilates teacher, Valerie Smith, who was offering a weekend seminar to start off the New Year in 2009. After that weekend, I was quite moved by the power of T’ai Chi Chih. My interest grew as I continued practicing with Valerie, and I felt strongly motivated to become a more serious student. This eventually led me to practice with Sandy McAlister and ultimately, my teacher certification in 2017.

I enjoy teaching and feel especially rewarded as my students become engaged and excited about the practice and continuing to learn more. There are many age differences in my classes and I enjoy watching the intergenerational interactions occur and helping one another.

T’ai Chi Chih truly is joy through movement.
