During my very first lesson in March 2013, I experienced several benefits — improved balance, deep relaxation, and a sense of the promise of increased joy.
It is now my passion to promote the wellness of body, mind, and soul, which T’ai Chi Chih offers. I was accredited in 2016 and have been teaching ever since. These days there is nothing I’d rather be doing.
I have taught in Banner Greeley Hospital’s Wellness Program, and I continue teaching at two senior living facilities, AIMS Community College, Evans Recreation Center, and Zoom.
I also lead Practice in the Park, a free drop-in session during the summer in both Loveland and Fort Collins.
Zoom Classes
I am also teaching a one-on-one Zoom class to one of my son’s work colleagues in Washington, DC. It’s been a great way to bridge generations and distances.
Fun photo captions: At my Nederland, Colorado cabin we have NoCo TCC retreats from time to time. Photo #2 (left to right) is of me with new teachers JJ Johnson and Terry Johnson. Photo #1 is astride a cheetah with “soft” TCC paws at Nederland’s famous carousel.
