Greetings Spiritual Seekers,

I have been teaching TCC in person twice weekly for the past three years. It got me through Bladder Cancer rather nicely.

Last November in 2022, after a 5-year hiatus, I resumed leading Buddhist meditation retreats at Mt Baldy Zen Center where I had taught regularly for the previous 25 years. The November Retreat was a 10-day followed by a 14-day in May/June of 2023.

In both retreats, the day would begin with T’ai Chi Chih and meditation. I was amazed but not surprised at how deeply students (and teachers) could go with daily group practice and personal feedback. All this TCC was nestled in many hours of meditation that included the Jhanas (absorption states), the Inner Tantras, and Dzogchen (open presence) practices.

Both retreats were full (24 students). The beautiful, classic, Japanese Zendo with platform seats and a beautiful wooden floor added to the delight.

I have not ventured into Zoom. I am a retired psychotherapist of 30 years and appreciate the importance of personal contact that, in my view, is most effective with deep spiritual inquiry. I do not have a website though one is in the works.

I live with my darling wife Cathy in Prescott Valley, Arizona. We are finally doing a 3-day retreat in our area at a beautiful Ashram. Our Mahayana Four Immeasurables Retreat is from Thursday evening (9/28) through Sunday (10/1) lunch.
