Hello and thank you for visiting my page for Chula Vista Norman Park Senior Center.

I found T’ai Chi Chih through a neighbor of mine in 2015.  I fell in love with the practice, feeling calmer, more at ease, and happier!  Knowing the benefits of the practice, I wanted to share it with everyone and started teaching in early 2021.

I teach varied communities and on Zoom for both beginning and intermediate classes.  My experience teaching includes at a retirement community with some of my students in wheelchairs, at Oasis in La Mesa, which is a learning center for people 50+, on Zoom with Mission PD, which is a non-profit organization for the health and well-being of Parkinson’s patients and their caregivers as well as at Chula Vista Norman Park Senior Center and Healing Therapies in La Mesa to people of all ages.

Students of all ages have said some of the same things about their experiences with the practice including how peaceful and relaxed they felt after class yet they had energy.  Other students have said that their practice has helped them tremendously with balance and movement.  Other students have said they feel a sense of joy and are smiling as they leave practice.

I love sharing T’ai Chi Chih with students and I can’t wait to share this beautiful, simple practice of 19 moves and one pose with you soon!
