Jessica enjoys working with and has taught students across the entire spectrum of age, health condition, and ability. Over the years her students have described her teaching style as “warm,” “authentic,” “personable,” “comforting,” and “like coming home to a wonderful hot meal.” In the brief time since her Accreditation, she’s played a large role in the formation of 13 additional Instructors and the life-benefits Jessica has received from her dedication to the T’ai Chi Chih practice are, in her words, “simply indescribable.”
Jessica offers everything from curriculum-based T’ai Chi Chih Intro-Level classes, to Guided Practice (for more experienced students), to one-on-one sessions (suitable for anybody.) Jessica especially enjoys mentoring TCC Teacher Candidates and she was recently designated as one of the Community’s four Teacher Prep Coaches (learn more here: www.TCCCommunity.net.) She also conducts two weekly classes just for military Veterans, one Tai Chi for Veterans class (T’ai Chi Chih taught within the context of a federal program launched in 2019 by the VA Community Care Network) and one unique community-based T’ai Chi Chih for Veterans class (for more info click the OTHER LOCATIONS tab above.) Both of these classes are drop-in style and perfect all skill levels, either in-person or via Zoom (plus loved-ones and civilians are always welcome too!)
To contact Jessica email her at jhtl0521@gmail.com. Her website www.SculptUrLife.com is both rich and dynamic … you can also email her by sliding down to the bottom of any page there (plus you should always feel free to call 302-593-5005 with questions!)
You may especially enjoy Jessica’s webpage dedicated to T’ai Chi Chih: www.SculptUrLife.com/tai-chi-chih or watching all the T’ai Chi Chih movements broken down into chapters on her VIDEOS page: www.SculptUrLife.com/videos. Plus you’ll find a complete silent mirrored practice with Jessica and Teacher Trainer April Leffler (her first and most treasured TCC instructor) here: www.SculptUrLife.com/tai-chi-for-veterans … just do what you see and you’ll quickly feel for yourself what it’s like to go with the F.L.O.W. (follow love over worry!)
Jessica gratefully received her T’ai Chi Chih Accreditation in 2015 and her Seijaku Accreditation in 2016 but she’s also Certified as a Master Personal Trainer and a Nutritional Counselor … basically this means she has a completely unique understanding of how the combination of relaxing well, moving well, and eating well can support profound wellness in anyone (even in the face of major life challenges.) As the face of her private practice SCULPT YOUR LIFE® Jessica has been combining customized exercise routines and solid nutritional advice for an extremely diverse population of clients all over Delaware and the greater Philadelphia area since 2004. But ever since adding T’ai Chi Chih into the mix, her track record for coaching clients through profound mental and physical transformations has skyrocketed … Jessica’s motto is WORK WITH ME AND SET YOUR WELLBEING FREE! and her signature “3-legged stool” approach enables her to meet students wherever they wish to be met.
Jessica is also Delaware’s only authorized instructor for VA Community Care Network’s Tai Chi for Veterans program and has taught extensively at the Cancer Support Community, Widener University, and the American Red Cross. She’s an experienced public speaker, having delivered crowd-pleasing interactive presentations at conferences hosted by Harvard Medical School, OSHER Center for Integrative Medicine, the Mental Health Association, the Brain Injury Association, Beebe Healthcare, and Delaware’s leading suicide prevention initiatives—including the Governor’s Challenge, the Coalition for Suicide Prevention, and the Subcommittee for Veteran & Military Suicide Prevention. Jessica has an extensive background in Tang Soo Do karate, is a former national competitor, and is often featured in both print and digital media. For more info on EASY ways to overcome sometimes life-long challenges with stress, illness, weight, or fitness, make sure to bookmark Jessica’s website plus follow her on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
