WHERE: Oxnard Beach Park — (NW quadrant of the park, on the grass)
WHAT: Ongoing all-levels class.
WHEN: Wednesdays from 11:15am-12:15pm AND Saturdays from 8:30 – 9:30am
FEE: $10 ($10 for your first class in any given week; $5 for your second or third class in the same week, at all outdoor locations)
WHO: Continuing students and Beginners are welcome in every class.

Lisa M. Otero has been practicing T’ai Chi Chih for 25 years and was accredited to teach in 2000. She is a student of Carmen Brocklehurst and had the honor to be personally instructed many times over the years by TCC originator, Justin Stone.

Lisa teaches three classes each week at outdoor locations in Oxnard and Ventura, CA.

Lisa is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College and the Harvard Law School and is a retired civil rights attorney. She grew up in Oxnard, California, lived in Boston, Massachusetts for 25 years, and is happy to call Oxnard home again.

Lisa is also a Hatha and Yin Yoga instructor and a caretaker member of the Friendship Sangha of the Heart, a mindfulness meditation group practicing in the tradition of Buddhist Zen master Thich Nhat Hanh, which meets weekly via Zoom.
