Anchored
A beautiful Caribbean island, Bonaire, is protecting its valuable coral reef. The popular scuba diving, snorkeling, and tourism destination has banned the use of boat anchors on the reef. Instead, there are dozens of strategically placed moorings where boats can tie up while divers go down.
Anchors. Moorings. Tai’ Chi Chih. Our feet anchor us to the earth. Our feet are our moorings. To tie up to these moorings, we place our concentration on the soles of our feet.
Stay out of our heads and on our moorings. Moorings that protect the valuable landscape of our lives. Protect our relationships from flighty decisions. Protect our conversations from hurtful words. Protect our bodies with healing energy drawn down to the bubbling springs – the soles of our feet – then back up again.
Compassion. Peace. Strength. Anchors. Moorings. Tai’ Chi Chih.
