Dawn
By: Lois Mahaney
Dawn
Nature’s wonders silhouetted
against a lightening sky.
Gentle breezes awakening
to greet the morning.
Seijaku
Firm as the solid earth beneath my feet,
Rooted as a tree, branched
to capture sun and rain.
T’ai Chi Chih
Soft as the gentle spring raindrops;
Flowing yet controlled
like the marvelous ‘hummer’;
Graceful as a butterfly
sipping life-sustaining nectar.
Meditation
Daily inviting the Universal Chi.
Revelation
Solid, giving way to gentle strength;
Earthiness to the Spiritual.
