Fall
By: Roberta Taggart
Hue-laden leaves announce autumn
as harvest-time dampens the air
and earth reaps parturient crops
bidding the summer farewell.
The golden moon rises triumphant,
as the smell of sweet hay fills the sky
and fall gifts the earth with its bounty
imparting gestational grandeur.
