On January 1, 1989, T.M. meditators began receiving a 30-50 percent reduction of their automobile insurance without losing any services. A Dutch company, BERG-Diensten, has made this offer. Interested drivers must take a 5-year insurance policy and conduct two daily T.M. meditations. The company is doing this because statistics have shown that people who do T.M. are simply not as big a risk. The special characteristics noted about these people include: low alcoholism, virtually no anxiety or stress, more consciousness and awareness, quicker reaction time and better perception.
