Individual Need
Catherine Johnson, Cedar Crest, NM
A couple of TCC teachers conversed about the accumulative benefits their practice has brought, the balancing effects being different depending on individual need. The contrasts are interesting if not surprising. Teacher #1: “I was formerly inclined to live out of the head. My consistent practice has me more involved with what the body is telling me.” Teacher #2: “I am always using and working my body, on a daily basis, so when my practice isn’t as consistent as I wish, I begin to struggle with depression.”
