Loving and Sharing the Chi

Albuquerque, NM is the Home of T’ai Chi Chih, as this is where it was originated while Justin was teaching at the University of New Mexico. There are over 78 T’ai Chi Chih teachers in Albuquerque. TCC classes in Albuquerque have increased, and are being taught all over the city and state. Everyone from children to Senior Citizens are having TCC classes made available to them. We can be found in hospitals, corporations, senior citizen centers, health plans, community centers, the University of New Mexico, Government offices, churches, YMCA’s, Retreat Centers, Trade Fairs and more.

As can be noted from the many and varied activities in New Mexico, T’ai Chi Chih has been alive and growing in Albuquerque. I’m sure that for the record to truly be complete several weeks would have to be dedicated to sitting down with 78 teachers, and many wonderful memories revived. It can also be noted that Albuquerque teachers have not limited themselves to Albuquerque, but felt that TCC was important enough to share wherever we have gone.

Classes are being offered morning, noon and evening, on almost every day of the week, 12 months of the year. New Mexico has truly taken T’ai Chi Chih to its heart and is healthier and happier (more joyous) for it.
