Make Mine Recurring
Board Member of The Vital Force
Our T’ai Chi Chih (TCC) community is very generous: Our various organizations, including The Vital Force journal (taichichih.org), are supported to a great extent by donations from teachers, students, and the extended community (matching gifts from corporations, significant others, etc.). Itemized tax deductions allowed for charitable donations have largely been negated by the larger standard deduction that came with the 2017 Tax Cut and Jobs Act (TCJA) changes. That said, charitable donations are still extremely valuable to the causes we hold dear.
The TCC community’s website, , allows you to establish a recurring donation. Recurring donations provide advantages to the recipient and the donor. The receiving organization has a steadier stream of revenue on which to base financial decisions and the donor can “set it and forget it.” The amounts really add up and can smooth budgeting and memories. (Did I give this year?)
We have all found benefits through TCC practice and the community within which we are supported. This community is ever evolving and growing. Much of the TCC “ecosystem” has evolved as a labor of love and service by several dedicated members of our community. Please consider joining others in establishing recurring monthly donations, in whatever amount your budget will allow. They really add up. Your donation supports TCC to be discovered and credible. Help others find what you have found. And make it recurring.
