Many Thanks Chi-cago
Meara Joy Rybczyk, Milton, VT
Back in the spring, I had made the decision to pass on attending this year’s TCC Teachers’ Conference. Our family welcomed our third grandchild and there were other commitments tugging at my time this summer.
One morning in early July during my TCC practice, I felt a strong pulse radiating all around me. As I reflected within, I saw myself with all the other TCC teachers doing the movements at the Conference. For the next two days, I had the same experience while doing my practice. On the third day, I called my travel agent (who happens to be one of my TCC students) inquiring about flights to Chicago. Lo and behold, there was a good deal! I called Barbara Peller who graciously did everything possible to respond to my late registration.
This is my fourth year teaching and fourth conference. Living in Vermont is a blessing and T’ai Chi Chih continues to be a gift of giving and receiving on many levels in my life here. Evidently my TCC angels knew that I was supposed to be here and through my daily practice showed me how to connect with that awareness. I am delighted and renewed! Being fully present with Justin and Steve always inspires my teaching experience. Visiting with other teachers touches my heart and nurtures our sense of community no matter where we live geographically. I am grateful and return home with my cup of Chi flowing onward!
