Poetry by Steve Ridley
11-19-85
Light flakes stack and join
Sparkling white sculptures
Contour familiar gardens, asleep
Silently T’ai Chi abounds
In the tenderness of inner solitude
Each new breath is birth.
12-12-85
The division of interests
Between heaven and earth
Is man
Worshiping yang and yin
Change and discontent
Conceal joy
In the face of the One Life
Gratitude breathes joy!
12-25-85
Through countless faces
Tao knows Wholeness …
Bestowing, transforming,
Integrating, awakening …
Who awakens?
Within Tao
Lights and shadows dance.
2-14-86
Impermanence
Is the beauty of passing clouds
Forever
Is the joy of that witnessing One!
