Thanks for Support and Participation

Dear Friends:

The choice of how to spend our money and time is not always easy. To those 60 teachers who chose to be at the conference (some at great sacrifice) I would like to deeply thank you for your support and participation.

I was overwhelmed by the love and support that flowed from everyone to meet our monetary obligation. I was quite at a loss for words (unfortunately not for tears).

I apologize to those who I neglected to give credit and thanks to for their time and work – Lois Mahaney, Liz Salada, Cheryl Hamblin, and Linda Braga who made up our committee. Also, to Lois for the teacher directory, and Liz for the idea and compilation of the teacher biographies and teaching technique idea used Saturday. I appreciate those who picked up and dropped off people at the airport, to Lia, Willy and Tara for their contribution Saturday night.

The next conference is being planned for August 11-13, 1989 in Albuquerque. Please support those working on it by sending your thoughts and suggestions to Carmen Brocklehurst.

Thanks again for all the suggestions and ideas, and to all those who helped the weekend to flow smoothly.
