Public Places, Anyone?
I sometimes took people on overseas trips, and when we were at the airport, I coaxed and nudged people — because they trusted me — to do T’ai Chi Chih (TCC) movements in public. I also did it in airports because I made trips to Australia and wanted to do something good for my body before I boarded a plane for 15 hours. In public situations, specific movements seem appropriate while others do not. I do movements that contain and ground the energy. In a courtroom corridor, for instance, where there is a tiny amount of space, I might do Bass Drum for 10 minutes.
