A Journey in the Making
November 3, 2024… the day I became an accredited T’ai Chi Chih (TCC) teacher. It has been a wonderful journey since the Intensive of June 2024. But the journey began more than seven years ago when I was introduced to the world of TCC. Now I have been teaching since January 2025.
It has been such a sweet transition from student to teacher. Teaching a group of 30-plus people at my Senior Center one day a week is so rewarding. They appreciate and enjoy the world of TCC. New people are eager to learn. They embrace the movements, energy, and meditative aspect of TCC. It makes me feel good to be able to teach to them.
Because this is an older group of people, I exposed them to a seated TCC session. As one person said, “Wow that really felt different and good.” They were amazed at the benefits of seated TCC. They make it a pleasure for me to teach to them.
