Auditing Teacher Writes With Gratitude
By: Ralph Garn
Syracuse, NY
Having just returned from the July teacher’s accreditation in Mahwah, NJ, I want to extend my appreciation for Sr. Antonia Cooper’s hosting and Ed Altman’s teaching skills and integrity as the (not so) newly appointed head of T’ai Chi Chih. His maturity of practice and presence were outstanding! …
‘for the laborer is worthy of his hire’ . . . (Luke 10:7)
The weather was sunny and in the 80’s, food was better-than-average, and the walking grounds/hiking trails were used by many. Ed’s drawing of a human form with the ‘below the navel’ emphasis and the ’empty head’ left a strong impression on me! Reminded me of the ‘headless horseman’ tale . . . the horse doing the work and the man (upper body without a head’) just along for the ride.
