On Sunday after everyone had left (I had been waiting to see that all who needed transportation had been taken care of), one of the men who worked at Vallombrosa approached me and said, “You were with the T’ai Chi group.” I said, “Yes.” He said, “Today I had a chance to watch all of you moving on the lawn. I stood and watched all of you, it was beautiful to watch and it really had an effect on me. Everyone was moving so slowly and together. I’m a hyper person and it was very calming.” He added, “You know what else amazed me? You guys started early in the morning and were up late at night and everyone had so much energy all weekend!”
I talked to him a little about T’ai Chi Chih and from what he observed by watching those at the conference, he is interested in taking a class. I got his name and address and I’ve contacted a teacher who will send him her schedule of classes.
