Seijaku Reminders

I learned some helpful things by auditing the post-conference Seijaku training that have given me the confidence to begin teaching since retiring in June:

• Don’t wait. Share what you know now. Talk about what you have experienced. Down the road you will have more to teach but don’t wait.

• Seijaku is T’ai Chi Chih; it’s just one level deeper. Students won’t get it the first time. Mirror practice with your words but use as few words as possible. Be clear, concise, rely on the Prajna (inherent wisdom). Listen to it; it will guide you. You will be surprised at the wisdom that comes out.

• Team-teach with Justin (i.e. use his materials).

• It’s a paradox that when we most need TCC, we don’t do it. When you have resistance to doing the practice, commit to five minutes to get you started.
