TCC AHA Moment

I recently had a private session with a T’ai Chi Chih teacher in preparation for possible teacher accreditation in May. In some of the movements, I was told I was “anticipating.” I knew where I wanted my arms to go and I was going there, thus becoming out of synch with my tan t‘ien. As an actor, it’s important that I avoid anticipating what my fellow actor is going to say because that would indicate that I’m not listening and am not in the moment. I just love inter-connectedness.
