Just Four Words

Barbara Kristoff suggested we Marin, California, teachers reconnect as soon as possible after the T’ai Chi Chih (TCC) conference to share what we learned. The picture (here) at lunch says it all. Can you see all that in our smiles? We talked about community, expansiveness, unexpectedness, and joy.

Community — “It was obvious and stunning how the community held together in support over various and multiple issues during the round table discussions. Invaluable.” – Linda

Expansiveness — “As a new teacher, my world of TCC expanded exponentially from the three teachers I know here in Marin to meeting people from around the world.” – Katy Cole

Joy — “It’s hard to deny the energy of a room full of TCC. Pure Joy through Movement. – Barbara Kristoff

Unexpectedness — “One of the unexpected things was how much I enjoyed the setting in Albuquerque given that I had visited several times before and the unexpected surprise at seeing the new TCC Center.” – Tom Rothenberger

Could we make a pyramid poem out of these words? Probably, but more important are the memories of our time together … precious. Thank you TCC conference creators.

Just One More Thing

Barbara also took a photo the three constellational generations (some may call us three musketeers): Hannah Hedrick (accredited 1986), Linda Prosche (accredited 1987) and Katy Cole (accredited 2024).

And speaking of constellations, we are having a retreat (January 23 to 26, 2025) on the Big Island. It will focus on creating a constellation including TCC teachers wishing to share healing modalities in a self-care/peer support environment. Hannah Hedrick’s intention is to empower TCC teachers to become catalysts for healing and connecting with other types of groups. Specifically, her intention is to empower TCC teachers to bring TCC to other groups with whom they share passionate connections. Drop a note to learn more.
